York Travels to Ottawa, it's 4 1/2 hours away - either way, whether it's Queens or Ottawa it's a lengthy bus ride, and possibly a hotel stay over
They also travel to Wilfrid Laurier University over an hour away

So it looks like most teams only have two games where they travel any significant amount. Queens is in a tough position, because they're not that close to any team, closest to Carleton, Ottawa followed by U of T - so it looks like they're trying to keep it closest to home - not that easy to do. Also, Some teams will have more $$ to play with when it comes to travel.
