The new August 15 rule looks like a major change in university football rules.

If you look at the FAQ section, student H is a 27 year old and they say he has five years of eligibility left.

It appears that they are dropping the age cap altogether. It appears that they say if you play organized tackle football anywhere in the world you will be charged with using one year of university eligibilty if you play a season beyond August 15 that year, and you are 20 yo or older?

Wow --confusing. And some guy plays a year of organized football in Lower Slobovia, who in Canada is going to see that?

I must be wrong in how I am interpreting all of this. Is this in effect for one year, or forever? Perhaps one of you readers can straighten me out and explain what they really mean?
