    Thanks for sharing Chappy.
With more Covid restrictions, cases climbing. Toronto back in lockdown, And are we next.....certainly needed a chuckle

My cat was starring me down as I ate my dinner yesterday. If he had the chance he would have lifted the salmon off my plate.
The non stop whining, you’d think I never fed him.....His majesty is fed before anyone else. I eventually broke down and shared some. Big mistake....Just so he could start the whining all over again.

I see the shoppers were out in full force Saturday, mall parking lots crammed. Sigh. People buying ahead of anticipated closures.
I can only imagine it would have been crazier in Toronto. Ordered online, sent my family out west a package.

It snowed yesterday. Thankfully the weather came to it’s senses after some cuss words, temps rose, snow melted. Now perhaps I should apply that philosophy to my cat. Nah, wouldn’t work. He’s not a quitter - likes fish too much. The aroma was driving him wild. Steak and frites tonight...maybe poutine.
Sylven, Bizz, Stingerfan, What’s happening out your way? Any poutine or windshield wiper news out your way?
    Ottawa fan...out yours?
    Peter, what’s happening in Guelph?
    LBF?
    DSquared?
    Anyone else?
Well, coffees calling....Uh...and so is my cat. Sigh...Guess who wins?

Keep the chuckles coming. Could be a long winter.

One of my company pick ups was stolen last Sunday Chappy. We have GPS on all of the trucks, two were arrested and the truck recovered but not until after they bounced off of curbs, other cars and who knows what else. A few thousand in tools were picked up over a few kms of highway as well.

Following the vein of your post, it would have been easier and less work had they just demolished or set the truck on fire. I have to go chase quotes, insurance is involved, etc.

I hear ya. When I used to work on the Mountain and our store was broken into several times.....my thoughts were I would have preferred they stopped by and advised they were going to hit the place....that way we could leave the door unlocked, saving on having to replace a bunch of glass and the early morning am call that you have to respond to, the clean up of the mess, etc basically meaning you’re up the rest of the am with the cops etc....

Who could not use a chuckle?

Today, my recycable garbage was picked up by an all female crew. In all my many years on this planet I have never seen that before!

Once again I was reminded of what a dinosaur I am (Brontosaurus is my middle name). Female dinosaurs would not have considered such a job when I was (sort of) growing up.

What new wonders will I see tomorrow? Maybe a piece of space junk will land in my backyard? Maybe a guy on TV will convince me that if I drink his new elixir , I will live to be a healthy 110.

Founded in 1848, the University of Ottawa adopted its official colours Garnet and Grey, and like many nineteenth-century institutions, the athletics teams were known only by the school's colours. Eventually, a connection was made between the shorthand "GGs" and "Gee-Gee", the common British nickname for a racehorse. The unique Gee-Gees name and iconic logo known today is a result of 170 years of history in Ottawa
