You may have seen a "This site has been hacked by..." message this afternoon on this page. Rest assured that the site wasn't hacked, technically, it was "hijacked", by a bot. ...and no malicious code was downloaded onto your computer or anything. It was just some pinhead doing what he does best, and that's being a pinhead. At any rate, hacked or hijacked, the joke is on the hijacker as it only affected this page. A security exploit appeared in a version of the software I was using to manage the previous version of this page, and overnight this bot exploited thousands of web sites in this manner, including this one. I have the monkeys working hard on getting this site back to its former self, as you can see, and Dr. Zaeus here has informed me that we should be able to see some results quickly. We'd better, or I'm withholding their banana rations for a week.
