I read this morning that Bobby Singh has been released by the BC Lions. Just another of the countless "cap casualties" that are a result of the recent 4.05 million dollar salary cap instituted by the latest CFL collective bargaining agreement. What I want to know is why the CFL players voted for this CBA? Did they know that they were going to take a pay cut or get cut? I'm assuming they didn't know the teams were all currently spending over 4.05 million. I'm assuming they thought 4.05 would mean more money for everone. How many of the guys that voted for it are now looking for work?
