Join the Huskies Old Dogs and others in corporate Halifax for the 5th annual Huskies Football: Celebrating Excellence Dinner. Thursday, April 12th at the Port Royal Room, World Trade & Convention Centre with special guest speaker Henry “Gizmo” Williams.

Renowned as one of pro football’s most electrifying players, Edmonton Eskimos kick returner Henry “Gizmo” Williams is the most prolific kick returner in CFL history. However, it is his exceptional character, in addition to his outstanding athletic ability, which have made him the remarkable fan favorite he is throughout Canada. Williams played on two Grey Cup championship teams in Edmonton (1987–93) and was a five-time league all-star.

During the evening there will also be recognition of Huskies 5th year players Andre Knights, Chad Moore, Tyler Powell, Bill Robinson Jr., Steve Truzak and graduating seniors for their outstanding contribution to Saint Mary’s University and the local community. A Silent Auction of select items, and an action packed video of the past seasons round out the Celebration of Excellence. The event will sustain the O’Donnell-Hennessy Scholarship Fund and other initiatives identified by the Old Dog’s Club who assist with the financial support of the scholar-athletes on the Huskies.

Join us for another highly successful Celebrating Excellence event. Linked below is a ticket order form and there will be a follow-up call within a few days. Your valuable support allows the continued development for the Huskies and the Atlantic University Football Conference.
