This year the CFL reduced the training camp roster size from 75 to 68.
That means 7 fewer spots for unsigned free agents.

These spots were important to give CIS grads with no eligibility left a shot to make the CFL.
This includes players who just finished their 5th year.

Now, with the reduced size, these graduated players will not be seen.

Is this a good thing considering the CFL is planning expansions in the near future?

Teams are allowed to bring 68 to their main camp but draft picks don't count.
