    If they really want to rejig conferences to cut down on travel and overnight expenses---then how about a new OQFC.

    Ottawa -St. Lawrence Division

    Ottawa
    Carleton
    Queen's
    Sherbrooke

    Quebec Division

    Laval
    Montreal
    Concordia
    McGill

    Each division plays six games--home and away. Then they cross over for a quarter final,semi final and final game. Maybe even the losers of the quarters play a consolation round to decide 5 to 8. Thus each team gets at least 8 games , and some nine, with very little travel.

    Edit--Maybe we even get two Panda Games out of it. The winner of each of the two Ottawa-Carleton games get two points in the standings. The Panda goes to the team that wins on the combined score of the two games.
