    Okay ---maybe uOttawa will find a way to use Gee-Gees Field in 2021. They are looking into it.

    In the meantime the former Iranian Cultural Centre site has been sold for 26.5 miilion dollars to a Montreal developer. It is between the Sandy Hill Arena ,where uOttawa hopes to build a new athletic complex someday and Lees Av where Gee-Gees Field is. The building has been torn down and the purchaser proposes to build a huge development , some of which will likely be student residences.

    Note the green area between Lees and Robinson Avenues is owned by uOttawa.
