I'm not so sure. Which is worse for USports, a conference which plays exciting football all year long until the national semi-final, or a conference where almost every regular season game is boring and predictable, leading up to two blowout conference semi-final games?

Sure, the RSEQ winner tends to win the Vanier every second year, but I don't think that outweighs what the rest of the conference does. AUS has good football for 10 weeks, followed by 1 week of bad football. RSEQ has 9 weeks of bad football before we get to games that actually matter.

Is the conference with parity the problem, or is their semi-final loss just another symptom of what ails RSEQ and USports all year long?
