A few key players were not inherited, including the QB who was lured in using money and perks (that no longer would be allowed).

That said, I think it is a fair point that Olson's recruiting was responsible for most of UBC's roster. He was doing pretty well. Maybe if Olsen had the resources that Nill was given, he could've done just as well.

Of course, if Nill were currently being given the resources that he used to be, he might be doing better too.
