Default So I saw this horror movie (Concordia University related) ...

I recently saw this early 80's horror movie called "Happy Birthday to Me" staring Glenn Ford (Superman, The Big Heat) and Melissa Sue Anderson (Little House on the Prairie). I don't remember where the story takes place but it was clearly filmed in Montreal and at Loyola Campus. Real treat to see Concordia University as it looked back in 1981 and the playing field where the football games were played. Both the stands and the playing field where facing in different directions as we know it today.

As for the movie itself. Not bad for a horror flick even down to it's "Scooby Doo" ending. If you've watched the Scooby Doo cartoon, then you'll know what I'm talking about. Glenn Ford was a pretty famous actor himself and was born in Portneuf, Quebec according to IMDB.

He preferred the movie, the end was less horrendous than the Stingers season.

It's always fun when you see a familiar location like this in the movies (particularly if it's supposed to be somewhere else).
