Unless I'm mistaken, the OUA investigated and made the decision to suspend Coach Knox before McMaster acted. The OUA was simply waiting until the appeals process played out before making the announcement.

Thus, it is reasonable to assume that all the facts were known by the Mac administration and that they also knew Knox's position re. an appeal. I don't see anything here that leads me to believe that the Administration "crapped" on their coach. For all we know, Knox may have acknowledged he was wrong and wants the process behind him as soon as possible

That could be true but if so I would have the coach issue a statement of remorse, take full accountability and then issue is over. Instead, they take risk such as when the players wear those shirts in support of the coach, etc. If the coach has said something to the team, agreed with it then the players do not do that stuff.
