The talent, or a large portion of it, went pro. They had the most players drafter to the CFL after the 2016 season and, in losing Behar and Adeleke, lost the face of their program and a guy who could turn games over on special teams play regularly. The fact that they were able to go toe to toe with Laval, even if they put much more effort into an exhibition game than most teams ever would was a testament to the talent they had. The overwhelming majority of teams in the country couldn't do that against Laval if they kept their best players in until the game was over.
