Default Recruiting for 2018 - Any Updates Welcomed

Some teams are off to an early start recruiting. Some maybe staying quiet not showing their hand - or just in the analysis, decision making, negotiation stage....
Some don't release their information i.e. Queens until after the holidays, New Year
Who knows how this years recruiting class will shape up. Will Laval go into high gear after losing to Western in a way they are not accustomed to
Will other teams follow the model and step up - find more money to invest in the team and players.
Interesting will be teams recruiting strategy - source - will there be more investors, will teams that have been lagging bring in more quality players.
And also interesting will be the coaching changes - how will they impact recruiting?? UBC just added Coach Stef Ptaszek
....stay tuned promises to be an EXCITING year

I will be updating this post as I get more information - I have updated Sask and Alberta - much more to come. Thanks for your feedback on commits I am listing my sources
It's a big list, and just starting. Thanks for your patience and any updates. ***** I Also welcome any updates on coaching changes

Alberta just took the lead with a healthy 24...
Oh wait, Windsor...yes, Windsor has 21 - who knew??

No surprise, Western already sitting at 15, This year shouldn't see them graduating many players, so it will be interesting to see who they recruit and their impact on the game.
Will Western's dominance have an impact on other universities recruiting?

Carleton's bringing in some players from Quebec - close proximity.....but so has Guelph, will be interesting to see if there is a trend at recruiting more Quebec players throughout the CIS

AUS has gotten off to a slow start, but it's very early. They could be staying quiet on who they've brought or about to bring in, or are in the middle of following/pursuing their interests.
Hopefully they have not been hampered by the negative media. Bringing in talented players and coaches has a positive impact on a team, no reason why these teams can't do well.

Any information and updates on key players for all teams,
Thank you Sylven for your valuable information on recruits from Quebec - Much appreciated.
Thank you to all who have contributed information on recruits.

Alberta 24 - AKA the Good guys - recruiting info courtesy of Westisbest2
Donovan Burgmaier - CJFL All Canadian DE. 6'5, 260. Looks a little high up in his stance and not that explosive off the ball as a result, but fantastic tackler, good hands, and physical. Pretty quick for a guy his size. Can't find any CIS history, and October 96 puts him at 4 years left I think, since Sept. 1 is the cutoff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoHz...ature=youtu.be
Oshane Samuels - 6'1 197lb DB Signed with Alberta last year. Big hitter, kickoff demon and all around special teams beast. These Huskies have some swagger, geez. Tackles kind of high, not sure about his potential as a DB, 3 years left. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/7631574...81652cc4f5ff14
Brad Launhardt QB 5'7 170 Back to back CJFL all canadian QB. PFC Offensive Player of the year, PFC Most Outstanding QB...and PFC Most Valuable Player. Played for Alberta before... Born September 95, so could have 3 years left unless he lost one in his time with the bears. Accomplished at the junior level. Doubt he beats out Baker for a job unless the Baker from the first half of the season shows up. Pr Add in that former starter Kopczinsky looks like he is FB now after he put 3 dinos in the hospital from that position (kid must be 5'9 250), and that is a lotta guys who could be hucking it on any given play. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/5368030...f77f0a74957c6c
Rodeem Brown - CFC #33 . Morris calls him the best guard prospect in the country, and he knows a lot about linemen. Played on Team Saskatchewan in the Canada cup in 2016, but not last year. Pretty quick for a big guy. https://www.hudl.com/profile/6385761/rodeem-brown
Sean Bennet DB 6’1 180lbs - Defensive Back
Ryan Gibson OL 6’5’’ 260 lb - Another big lineman taken from inside Saskatoon. He lists himself as a punter, Big mobile, stays guys and finishes. Good in open space, they pulled him as a single man screen quite a few times. http://www.hudl.com/profile/8358152/ryan-gibson
Daniel Shin 6’3’’ 250 lb OL - Center in tier 2, but started for Alberta at the Canada Cup. Good hands, but would like to see him be a little more aggressive. Not slow, but could be a little quicker, but that might tie into the aggression point. https://www.hudl.com/profile/4196958/daniel-shin
Seth Rogers OL Played on U18 team BC. I don't think these are recent highlights. Looks pretty mobile. Reminds me of a young Mark Korte. https://www.hudl.com/profile/6177414/seth-rogers
Jonathan Ericson QB - 6'3 175 Team Alberta starting QB at the Canada Cup. Big arm and accurate. Took quite a few pops after getting the ball off, but made the play - not much of a runner, will keep himself healthier longer. https://www.hudl.com/profile/5196175/jonathan-ericson
Carson Lethbridge OL 6'4" 280 - Played on Team Alberta at the canada cup. Looks big and strong, but fairly raw. http://www.hudl.com/profile/5196253/carson-lethbridge
Jordy Kibamba DB 6'2 190. Closes distance pretty quickly, and seems to read the play pretty well. Decent tackler. Played 1 season as a full time starter for Regina, then past two with the Calgary Colts. Dressed for 2 more seasons with regina starting a few games, and presumably playing specials. Born November 92, so he is old as dirt, and I think he would only have 1 more year. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/1318149...3cfa0d1c114f7a
Trey Campbell RB CJFL All Canadian Runningback - best runningback in the country who isn't in the CIS.. Electric. Looks like a man who has been to the gym a few times. Excelled the last two seasons with the Westshore Rebels. Signed with SMU last season, but I guess that fell through. Looks like only 2 years of eligibility left. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/7733026...51db26e802cc2c
Tyler Duguid OL/DL 6’4’’250 lb from Harry Ainlay! - Look at the hands on this kid!!! Clearly a wrestler, just locks in on guys with that grip strength and drives. Pretty impressive. Provincial wrestling champion, and on the U18 rugby team, so he might even be playing teams as an OL. Another huge addition to our offensive line group! Tyler is a two sport athlete who is also a national level wrestler. Two time Canada Cup player. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/6172889...8df2227050c859
Garrett Musgrave QB/ATH 6'2 180 from Llyodminster, who played in tier 2. Seems fairly athletic, not sure they see him as a QB. Makes some guys miss. His team lost in the tier 2 provincial final. https://www.hudl.com/profile/8517899/garrett-musgrave
Connor Bergersen PFC All-Star Reciever 6'3 210lb - Some big blocks, and doesn't shy away from contact. Pretty good at securing the ball, Looks like he was originally signed by UBC in 2015 and was dressed for 5 games. Says he was in his first year of eligibility then, but had played junior ball before for the huskies. Born in 96, so by my math he has 3 years left. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcDN...&feature=share
RB Jonathan Rosary 5'10" 185 - From Provincial champion Harry Ainlay. global athlete of the week in grade 10. Has played for Team Alberta twice and is a CFC Top 100, His hudl is empty, but he is 22 for Ainlay. Pretty explosive jump cuts. https://www.hudl.com/team/v2/56817/b...rsity-football
LB Lion Cameron 5’11’’ 175 lb strathcona edmonton - some info on CFC about him - described as a ball hawk
    Evin Kochisarli DL - 6'5" 290 http://www.edmontonwildcats.com/player/kochisarli-evin/
    Rec Adner St. Hillaire - 6' 160 - https://www.topprospects.ca/searchat...php?atlId=6260 https://www.hudl.com/profile/6242474/adner-st-hilaire
    Noah Danyk-Purcell - LB 6'4" 240 http://www.hudl.com/profile/9119106/noah-danyk-purcell
ATH Connor Guy Rec 6' 200 - Brother plays QB for Alberta. His school dropped to tier 2 this year. He plays QB and LB, but Alberta lists him as ATH, so he probably isn't a quarterback prospect. If you want to know why I hesitate on tier 2 ball, watch the clip where scona runs a 30 front with 3 lineman in 2 point stance and all 3 get through untouched. Unlike some of the other tier 2 guys, he actually seemed dominant at the level. Not particularly fast, but lowers the shoulder and is hard to tackle. http://www.hudl.com/profile/3231554/connor-guy
DB Eli Klassen - 6'1 170 - Another kid from tier 2 Llyodminster. Not much on him, http://www.hudl.com/profile/6231672/eli-klassen
REC Silas Yilenic - 6' 155. From Grande Prairie. Looks like they changed the playoff format, Some big catches, and some decent punts. Dear god do we need a kicker... https://www.hudl.com/profile/6286881/silas-yelenik
    David Kolkman - 6' 170 ATH QB, FS (Austin O’Brien, Edmonton) - https://www.hudl.com/profile/6362112/dave-kolkman
