    Default Week 7

    OFFICIAL HOLLYWOOD TOP 27 - WEEK 7

The Thanksgiving weekend is the one where the leagues catch up on the byes. The CW is an even-numbered conference so they get the weekend off. I know that readers are most thankful for one thing: THE OHT27! In honour of the holiday, I present TWO of my biggest fans, Tool Time Girls Heidi (Debbe Dunning) and Lisa (Pamela Anderson), presented two at a time for comparitive purposes.

    PRIOR OHT27s:
    2016 - final
    week 1
    week 2
    week 3
    week 4
    week 5
    week 6

    STEP 1: RESULTS

    Canada West

    Atlantic

    STEP 2: REGIONAL RANKINGS

The rankings show each team's conference record followed by their overall record. The games marked # are non-conference games. The games marked * are games against a jabroni. The games marked were reversed in league standings.

Pamela got her start as a football fan. Debbe has always been a natural in items exclusively available at the Tool Time Store.

    CANADA WEST

1 Calgary (5-0, 5-1) beat Alta Reg Man Sask UBC lost Reg#
2 Regina (3-2, 4-2) beat Cal# UBC Alta Sask lost Cal Man
3 UBC (3-2, 4-2) beat Alta# Man Sask Alta lost Reg Cal
4 Saskatchewan (2-3, 2-4) beat Man Alta lost McM# UBC Cal Reg
5 Alberta (1-4, 1-5) beat Man lost UBC# Cal Sask Reg UBC
6 Manitoba (1-4, 1-4) beat Reg lost Sask UBC Cal Alta

No games, no changes. So shut up and pass me some left over pie.

A lady who can handle heavy equipment can provide useful insights into football.

    ONTARIO

1 W. Ontario (7-0, 7-0) beat York* Gue McM Wind* Que Laur Carl
2 McMaster (5-1, 6-1) beat Sask# Carl Ott Gue York* Tor* lost UWO
3 Laurier (5-1, 5-2) beat Tor* Carl Que Wat York* lost Con# UWO
4 Carleton (2-4, 2-5) beat Que Ott lost Lav# McM Laur Wat UWO
5 Ottawa (4-2, 4-2) beat Gue Que York* Wind* lost McM Carl
6 Guelph (3-3, 5-3) beat SFX# MtA# Wind* Tor* Wat lost Ott UWO McM
7 Queen's (2-4, 3-4) beat McG# Wind* Wat lost Car Ott Laur UWO
8 Waterloo (4-3, 4-3) beat Wind* York* Tor* Carl lost Laur Gue Que
9 York (1-5, 1-6) beat Tor* lost Sher# UWO Wat Ott McM Laur
10 Toronto (1-5, 1-6) beat Wind* lost Mtl# Lau Wat Gue York* McM
11 Windsor (0-6, 0-6) lost Wat Tor* Gue UWO Ott Que

By defeating Waterloo, Queen's gets to join in the loop where everybody wins and loses to the others. Here's how those mid-5 have fared against one another:

    Carl 2-1
    Ott 2-1
    Gue 1-1
    Que 1-2
    Wat 1-2

So the Queens leapfrog Waterloo and the rest stand pat. It doesn't look like any of these teams will beat one of the top 3, nor lose to one of the bottom 3.

Don't let your wife give you any more BS. A lady CAN wear swimwear and handle power tools.

    QUEBEC

1 Montreal (4-0-1, 5-0-1) beat Tor# Con Lav Sher McG can Con
2 Laval (5-1, 6-1) beat Car# Sher McG Con McG Sher lost Mtl
3 Concordia (2-3-1, 3-3-1) beat Lau# Sher McG lost Mtl Lav Sher can Mtl
4 McGill (1-4, 1-5) beat Sher lost Que# Lav Con Mtl Lav
5 Sherbrooke (1-5, 2-5) beat York# Con lost Lav Con McG Mtl Lav

A cancelled game provided the most excitement in the Q this week. If its weird, you know it's Quebec.

Pam is clearly not ready to work. But Debbe takes a toolbox everywhere.

    ATLANTIC

    1 Saint Mary's (5-0, 6-0) beat Aca# SFX Bish Aca MtA SFX
2 Acadia (4-2, 4-3) beat Bish SFX MtA Bish lost SMU# MtA SMU
3 Mount Allison (2-4, 3-5) beat SFX# Aca SFX lost Gue# SFX Bish SMU Aca
4 St. F.X. (2-4, 2-6) beat MtA Bish lost Gue# MtA# SMU Aca SMU MtA
5 Bishop's (1-4, 1-4) beat MtA lost Aca SMU SFX Aca

The OHT27 does not care about boardroom decisions. Technically, SFX gets a cheesy win over the SMUskies. Pshaw, I sez.

    STEP 3: THE BLEND

Before tool time, Pamela also worked on motorcycles. Debbe apparently stuck to cars.

    "CONTENDERS"

13 Guelph (3-3, 5-3) beat SFX# MtA# Wind* Tor* Wat lost Ott UWO McM
    14 Saint Mary's (5-0, 6-0) beat Aca# SFX Bish Aca MtA SFX
15 Queen's (2-4, 3-4) beat McG# Wind* Wat lost Car Ott Laur UWO
16 Waterloo (4-3, 4-3) beat Wind* York* Tor* Carl lost Laur Gue Que

    "HAM'N'EGGERS"
17 Alberta (1-4, 1-5) beat Man lost UBC# Cal Sask Reg UBC
18 McGill (1-4, 1-5) beat Sher lost Que# Lav Con Mtl Lav
19 Acadia (4-2, 4-3) beat Bish SFX MtA Bish lost SMU# MtA SMU
20 Manitoba (1-4, 1-4) beat Reg lost Sask UBC Cal Alta
21 Mount Allison (2-4, 3-5) beat SFX# Aca SFX lost Gue# SFX Bish SMU Aca
22 Sherbrooke (1-5, 2-5) beat York# Con lost Lav Con McG Mtl Lav
23 St. F.X. (2-4, 2-6) beat MtA Bish lost Gue# MtA# SMU Aca SMU MtA
24 Bishop's (1-4, 1-4) beat MtA lost Aca SMU SFX Aca

    "JABRONIS"
25 York (1-5, 1-6) beat Tor* lost Sher# UWO Wat Ott McM Laur
26 Toronto (1-5, 1-6) beat Wind* lost Mtl# Lau Wat Gue York* McM
27 Windsor (0-6, 0-6) lost Wat Tor* Gue UWO Ott Que

There was surprisingly little movement here. Queen's jumps from Ham'n'Egger to The Blob, and some AUS shuffling, and that's it. I have a hunch that Waterloo has reservations in Ham'n'Eggerville. But when you consider that they were not just Jabronis, but A**clowns, not so long ago, it is still a fantastic turn-around. I am not sold on Carleton but their record is what it is.

    NEXT UP

    Oct 14 Regina Alberta
    Oct 14 Manitoba Calgary

    Oct 14 Windsor McMaster
    Oct 14 Toronto Carleton
    Oct 14 Concordia McGill
    Oct 14 Montreal Sherbrooke
    Oct 14 St. F.X. Acadia
    Oct 14 Bishop's Saint Mary's

So now it's back-to-work on your Tool Time projects.
