I'm still of the perhaps minority that believes if Hayley Wickenheiser can play women's hockey at the University of Calgary at 37, then the same should be the case for football. We want the best football played and if that means CJFL grads help USport get national TV deals because the game is better, then let's go for it. You don't see the NCAA saying that players have to be under 25, if you're a student and good enough to play (assuming you haven't gone pro), you can play.
Yes, I've never understood the whole age thing, especially since all CIS athletes are adults and no other sport does it. It was introduced solely because we have the CJFL, while other jurisdictions don't. I'm sure if the OUA starts falling behind again, they'll find some other thing to "fix".
