Following the new restrictions for OUA football, McMaster is proud to annouce that they will field a polo team next year. "We saved so much with the jersey restriction that we're able to take this new step as soon as next year". This new program will enhance the student-athlete experience, specially in the animal-human interaction. Of course, we didn't make the same mistake we did with football, so the following rules apply to the newcomber program :

- 2 horses for 15 students;
- a maximum of 6 poles per season;
- student must pay for their saddle;
- the eligibility is 5 years and and students will have 3 years after high school to fulfill them.

Looking forward to a new "breed" of student-athletes.
