Just a quick note to say hello to everyone.

I'm a long time fan of the CIS and have a son playing at McMaster.

If I seem bias in my posts...........well.......... I am at times... that's what makes us die-hard fans.

Look forward to discussions throughout the season.

Welcome aboard DSquared! No worries, bias makes the board work! Some have more than others but everyone has an affiliation that will shine through at some point eventually :)

Best of luck to your son!

Thanks GoldenHawkFan. I actually know quite a few of the players at Laurier. I'm also friends with a few parents whose kids go to Laurier.

Should be a packed house this year for the Labour Day game. Pretty big game for both teams.

Bienvenue DSquared !

You've come to the right place.

Don't be desoriented with some expressions you'll read here. «Weenies», «OUA yards» and «Avatar challenge» will be in your vocabulary pretty soon... :)

Bienvenue to you as well Bizz.

I'm afraid my French is much worse then the English of even the smallest french speaking communities in Quebec.

Great language, excellent cuisine, beautiful women and a unique culture. No wonder Quebec is a heavily visited province. My wife and I visit often, spending weekends whenever I'm working near Quebec City or Montreal.

I never seem to win any money at the casino in Montreal and never seem to walk off a fine dinner in Quebec City despite all of the stairs at the Plains of Abraham.

Really looking forward to the preseason match up and will be really happy for a repeat game should McMaster surprise some teams this year.

mes sincères salutations

Tried to make it in to the MAC-UW frosh game last year, game was sold out! People (including myself) stood around the stadium fencing watching in. Considering Laurier fans travel well the already packed frosh crowd will make this one hard to attend I'm sure! Likely buying my tickets well in advance because agree, a big game and always a great game for both teams as well. And always love taking in games at that gorgeous new Ron Joyce Stadium! :)

I remember all the people watching from outside the fence last year GHF, it was definitely a zoo. I had to pick up 2 extra tickets at will call and the line was long.

I have 4 season seats.
