So who do you think is the front runner? I don't think there is one. I really do not think that anyone is a stand out right now.

Ingram (RB, Bama) is a bit of a surprise and he has given them an offensive edge that compliments an amazing D.

Tebow just keeps winning and leading and doing what is needed for both. Playing injured and not making mistakes (INTs...fumbles are a problem tho). Keep in mind that Tebow received the most #1 votes last year and the huge # of B12 candidates allowed voters in the SouthWest to block Tim from their top 3. So basically Tebow was the nation-wide #1, but got no 2 or 3 votes in order to get enough total points last year.

McCoy is not doing anything special this year. But he is winning!

All the QBs from those small undefeated programs are in the running. I can't comment. Have not seen them. All I know is that they don't play a lot of tough teams...

I do not want to hear about ND's QB as being either a top draft or a Heisman candidate. Klausen is unspecial.

I will reserve my vote till after I see Ingram play LSU.

Slow year. So far Ingram is ahead but as you said, will need to see some more.

If Clausen gets it it's because of Dome Conspiracy. Don't buy him.

Tebow is still in the picture, if only because he's Tebow. Actually, because he's Tebow. Not been real dominant, not enough.

Don't know, really... so Ingram for now.

I think people are getting used to Tebow, plus there is all this wildcat stuff, everyone is going spread, and the media coverage of Tebow is irritating.

That said, he is an amazing leader and decision-maker. He does not throw picks. He has incredibly underrated accuracy and touch. He makes it so easy for receivers to get YAC. Slow releases affect your draft, not your NCAA success. If they continue to win out, I think it is close enough between him and Ingram that I use last year as the tie breaker...but AL-LSU and UF-UGA will be huge...NEXT WEEK!!!!!

Offence not producing, rememnber? That can and will hurt him if the ship is not righted.

Yeah, I forgot about that. I sort of think that is all hype. We played tight against LSU for obvious reasons. Left it up to our D and STs. Then last week was the inevitable let down week. We'll see tonight.

If we score 30 in Starkville, i will be pumped. Clearly, if you can shift AL and UF based on last week, this UT result (whoever wins) tells me UF should be #1 again in polls if we win tonight.

Incredible....AB blocks 2 UT FGs in a row to win by 2...

perfect result for UF. UT looks good and gets UF more respect. Bama stays undefeated. UF should get the polls' #1 based on last week's "you look bad so we drop you" logic.

UF's BCS lead will be incredible with a prime time TV win tonight!!!!

Ingram has to be considered the leader as of right now. Having a great season with a thousand yards already and a 6.6 yards per carry average. There's no way but Ryan Mathews from Fresno State would be a good pick as a Heisman but playing at Fresno really takes that out of the picture. 1131 yards in only 7 games with 9 TDs.
