Come By Chance, NFLD – Monday September 29, 2008

By Monty Musher, SMUcks’s #1 Fan

SMUcks training in secret???

It is quite befitting that the St. Mary’s CIS football team would retreat to our remote coastal village to get ready for the Mighty X-MEN next weekend in Antigonowhere. The decision to get away from the mainland rests solely on the shoulders of Head Coach Sumarah, who not only wanted to get away from X-Spies polluting the Halifax area, but who conceded that the name of our village truly reflect the SMUcks’ season so far because they have COME BY CHANCE to their current 4 – 0 standing, as well as their national Top 10 rating.

Our whole village, with a population of 296 as of this date (google it), can’t understand how the SMUcks have been ranked nationally, considering that they failed to deserve their wins against the Axemen, the Biches and the Mounties. There are substantiated talks on the mainland that those teams refused to play for a full 60 minutes against the SMUCKs in order to let them build that false sense of confidence for the rest of the season. It is well known that the Axemen, the Mounties and the X-Men don’t feel that 60 minutes of football is enough in a game and, with the blessing of their coaching staff, their meets so far have extended to Double Overtime to get maximum return from their scheduled games.

Me, myself and I, the most prolific CIS football journalists on the Mainland and on the Rock, tried to determine whether my SMUcks were actually overconfident, but none of the coaches, supporters or fans would agree to an interview. Fortunately, we managed to take this picture of the smallest OL listening to the daily “We are Invincible” briefing to the team by the HC.

Meanwhile, in Antigonowhere, homecoming preparations are in full swing for the record crowd Xpected. X Alumnus Two four is again in charge of celebrations and his new slogan is sure to have everyone just – a swinging… :D :D :D

You've never seen me here before, but I've got a strong feeling that something's going to give for our X-Men and I think maybe it will start with me.

I don't think they make X-jumpers in your size ("cruise ship"), but I'll take your challenge anyway :p

as to "cohones", so far I see three X fans and only one SMUck.

Somebody call the home and tell them to prod Spud and Old-Dog!

I wasn't challenging the spelling, bean bag :p Cojones is the proper spanish but since it's a slang term cohone's is a common english conversion.

I was challenging the USAGE, here you are calling out X fans testicular fortitude...when there's more X fans in this thread than SMUcks. I'd say we're showing more cojones/cohones so far :D

ya rite, nice try spindoctor....anyhoo i say "BALLS" to that weak slight of SMU fans!....the SMU faithful will pull thru. some have just lost their way and have been retorting the perpetual x windbag rant in the wrong sections. The balls in our court to rite this x wrong.

so prof x takes all the xnuts up to Hali for a day at the beach. ol' prof windbag fixes the x gang up and uninformed, 2teeth, kissmearse, puquey, ol prof windbag et al are all struttin their stuff in their speedos, chins held high, arms swingin, long strides, in their minds impressing the heck out of all of hali...until this nice sweet young SMU lady says..."er, fellas, the potato goes in the front"....:D :D :D :p

Hey Spuddy!!!

It's about time you got in on the action. I was afraid you'd lost your fighting spirit when a bunch of "pensioners" rammed it to the SMUcks at the VC last year, and expected you to quit dot.org AGAIN :p :p :p

You should update your pics. That's the Twin in that dress. Mine is pink :D

I spent the off season touring the Maritimes and updated my portfolio. Here's one of rum-soaked Lady Trk sucking on one of Whineskin's cubans she found in the gutter

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i147/gilles999/oldladycigar.jpg

and then there was your typical western SMU fans, Olddoggy and 500ozElevator, enjoying a horseshoe game on the SMU campus

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i147/gilles999/redneck8.jpg

You got to admit that the guy without the hat does look like OldDoggy :D :D :D

Using the super-computer Deep Blue, scientists have been able to produce a pair of composite images that represent a virtual prediction of what my epic Avatar battle vs Bigjake will look like this weekend (including outcome and associated dialogue)

Note that in this virtual rendition, Deep Blue even included Bigjake's trademark spandex and belt buckle combo. His belt buckle has his Robie St. High School locker combination number on it (so he won't forget it). "Cojones bulge" is also shown at correct anatomical size.

Modern technology is amazing :D

Prof: Expect BigFake to complain that you're using modern technology to gain an unfair advantage in this challenge. He might be right.

He's just becoming computer literate (BJ & literate in the same sentence: that's got to be the MOTHER of oxymorons) & got himself a new palm pilot before leaving on a business trip
